The inverter maker's app shows a single brand and leaves maintenance and reporting to you. MonitoringSolar brings monitoring, analysis, maintenance, meter data and reporting together.
Expected yield and performance ratio
Plane-of-array irradiance is calculated from satellite data using each plant's location, tilt and azimuth. Performance ratio (PR) follows the IEC 61724-1 approach and the performance index is reported day by day.
Inverter, MPPT and string analysis
Each inverter is compared with the plant median; underperforming inverters, MPPTs and strings are flagged automatically. DC voltages, string currents, internal temperature and serial numbers in one table.
Insulation resistance tracking
DC insulation resistance (MΩ) is logged hourly; you are alerted when it drops below the limit or starts trending down over weeks. Your company sets its own thresholds.
Smart alarms
Manufacturer alarms and our own rules in one list. Comment on many alerts at once; an alert marked as "expected" stays quiet for the period you choose (today, 3 days, a month or indefinitely).
Maintenance and work orders
Alarms become work orders for the plant's maintenance lead automatically. Fixes can't be closed without photos, periodic maintenance can't be closed without a report; everything is logged with date and person.

History and utility meter (OSOS)
Production before monitoring started is imported day by day from the manufacturer's history API. Missing months are completed from the distribution company's OSOS load-profile file or invoice values, and meter data is compared with inverter output.
Revenue and market prices
Define your selling price as a fixed rate, a share of the Turkish day-ahead price (EPİAŞ PTF) or USD (YEKDEM); daily, monthly and yearly revenue is calculated automatically with up-to-date prices and FX.
Inventory, warranty and documents
Inverters arrive with serial numbers automatically; add modules, transformers, panels, meters and cables. Get notified before warranties expire; datasheets, test reports and single-line diagrams stay with the plant.
Reports and scheduled email
Production, inverter, alert and revenue reports as PDF or Excel in one click. Selected reports are emailed to your customers weekly or monthly.

Plant-wide L1, L2, L3 voltages and imbalance, phase currents, frequency, power factor (cos φ), active and reactive power and DC→AC efficiency, live.
How it works
Up and running in three steps
No site visit needed. Your inverters already send data to the manufacturer's cloud; we read it through a secure, read-only connection.
Add a connection
In Settings → Connections pick the brand: a Northbound API user for Huawei, an AppKey and account for Sungrow, an API key for SolarEdge. Your existing account and settings stay as they are.
Plants appear automatically
Plants, inverters, serial numbers and historical yield are imported automatically. Enter location, tilt and commissioning date; assign maintenance leads.
Monitor and act
Follow everything on desktop and phone; faults and underperformance become work orders and are closed with photos and reports.

FAQ
Which inverter brands are supported?
Huawei (FusionSolar), Sungrow (iSolarCloud) and SolarEdge plants can be monitored today. SMA integration is in the manufacturer's approval process; contact us about other brands.
Do we need extra hardware on site?
No. MonitoringSolar connects to the inverter manufacturer's cloud through the official API with a read-only user. No hardware changes on site.
How often is data updated?
As often as each manufacturer allows: about every 5 minutes for Sungrow and every 15 minutes for Huawei and SolarEdge. Polling respects each manufacturer's rate limits and slows down at night.
Can you use utility meter (OSOS) data?
Load-profile files downloaded from the Turkish distribution company's OSOS portal can be uploaded; meter data is compared with inverter production in reports and fills days without monitoring. We are working on an automatic OSOS connection.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The dashboard is designed for phones; open it in your browser and use "Add to Home Screen" to use it like an app.
How is expected yield calculated?
Plane-of-array irradiance is computed from satellite data using the plant's location, tilt and azimuth; performance ratio (PR) and performance index follow IEC 61724-1. A cloudy day is not mistaken for a fault.
Can our customers see their own plants?
Yes. Each customer gets an account that only shows their own plants; they see reports, maintenance history and inventory but cannot change them. Separate roles exist for technicians and O&M contractors.
Where is my data stored, and is it secure?
The dashboard and database run on our server in Türkiye. Connections use HTTPS; user passwords are stored as one-way hashes, inverter and portal passwords are encrypted and never shown on screen. Data is backed up nightly. With the "Your own server" plan, all data stays with you.
How does pricing work?
Monthly subscription based on the total installed capacity (kWp) of monitored plants; the price depends on the plan. Fees are charged in advance by credit card. Contact us for a quote.
